Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training in the Craft Trades (FBH)
The Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training in the Craft Trades (FBH) at the University of Cologne as a member of the D H I is responsible for the areas of vocational training, education and work. It carries out basic and application-oriented research in the field of handicraft economics, which aims to impart vocational qualifications in and for handicraft enterprises. Current and significant future requirements in the field of craft and thus medium-sized training and further education are analysed at regional, national and European level.
The Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training in the Craft Trades (FBH) was founded in 1951 and is headed by Prof. Dr. Detlef Buschfeld.
