The Berufskolleg an der Lindenstraße is an economic high school, a senior commercial school and a one-year full-time vocational school, which offers the educational courses retailer and salesperson in the retail sector. It already has experiences with projects funded by the European Commission. Promoted by the European Union the vocational college developed the European Commerce Competence (EuCoCo) which is a standardized basis qualification system for commerce in Europe.

The Freiherr-vom-Stein-Berufskolleg is the commercial school of the district Minden-Lübbecke with campuses in Minden and Bad Oeynhausen. As a vocational school, it is a partner of business and management within the dual system of vocational education and training. It realizes the academic part of the vocational training. Approximately 2300 students attend the various full-time or part-time vocational schools. About 100 teachers who have a broad range of professional and academic degrees teach at the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Berufskolleg.
