e3Cases

Using business case studies in higher education

European, E-Learning and Education: As the title of the project already suggests, these are the contexts that e³Cases will develop and reform with innovative ideas in the field of business management at universities. For this purpose, three innovative and didactically and pedagogically high-quality end products will be developed: 12 case studies with a high didactically and pedagogically content, a manual as a guideline for the conception of such case studies as well as an online planning guide for the digital use of case studies by means of virtual, international learning tandems, which will lead to a live final presentation between the tandem partners. The necessity for these products arises on the one hand from the previous didactic-pedagogical deficits of existing case studies in business administration, the lack of a guideline for the production of elaborated, high-quality didactic case studies with simultaneous practical content (which has been the focus up to now) and on the other hand from the new requirements in the working world as a result of digitisation and the resulting necessary competences with regard to intercultural relations and the handling of new technologies.
